MDPA Curcumin C3 Complex (120 Capsules)

Description

MDPA Curcumin C3 Complex (120 Capsules) is comprised of curcuminoids.  Curcuminoids are the major active component of turmeric, a yellow compound isolated from the plant Curcuma longa and has been used for centuries in traditional medicines. Extensive research over the past 30 years has indicated that these molecules can provide positive benefits against a wide range of health issues related to cell function, lungs, liver, nervous system, joint function, metabolism, and cardiovascular system.

Numerous lines of evidence indicate that curcuminoids are highly pleiotropic with anti-inflammatory, hypoglycemic, antioxidant, wound healing, and antimicrobial activities. Curcumin is considered to be a bifunctional antioxidant that exerts both direct and indirect antioxidant effects by scavenging reactive oxygen species (ROS) and inducing the expression of cytoprotective proteins in an Nrf2-dependent way. The nuclear-factor-erythroid-2-related factor 2 (Nrf2) is a ubiquitous master transcription factor which induces the endogenous production of cytoprotective proteins/enzymes through binding to antioxidant response elements (AREs) at the DNA/gene level.

To further enhance the absorption of the curcuminoids in MDPA Curcumin C3 Complex (120 Capsules), we’ve formulated the product to contain Bioperene®, a natural extract obtained from black pepper fruit. This black pepper extract is clinically shown to enhance significantly the absorption of curcuminoids (by a factor of about 20 times) and curcuminoid concentrations in the blood.*
